THE FIRST TIME I SAW A PIAGGIO APE ON PINTEREST, ….I freaked out. I thought it was the coolest thing and knew I had to have one. I contacted a woman in Calgary who had one and she put me in touch with a guy named Ken who lives in Bayfield, ON. He happened to have two trucks and he agreed to sell me one. …..
KEN IS ….in his 70s and he’s so full of knowledge about these little trucks. He’s been refurbishing the truck starting with replacing parts and now getting into the painting. We’ve definitely hit it off and he gets what I’m trying to do with the truck which is to create an unforgettable experience.….
MY TRUCK IS ….a 1982 Piaggio Ape. It was built in Italy where it was used to deliver fruits and vegetables, then was put to use for ice cream sandwich sales in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Now, I’ll be using it to deliver drinks to the various events I’m planning. I just love that it has so much history and that I can add to it!….
THE APE HAS ….two taps on the side and one in the back. Whatever the host of the event wants to serve, we can accommodate. Champagne, wine, mixed drinks…whatever!.…
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A CHAMPAGNE TRUCK AT THEIR EVENT BECAUSE ….it makes for an unforgettable experience!….
